Sam Cox is a Grinnell native running for Mayor. She and her husband, Shawn, a U.S. Army Veteran, have five grown children. Sam owns and operates Saint’s Rest, a Grinnell coffee shop, and donates her time and resources to the Paws for Claws and the Grinnell 100 People Who Care. If elected, Sam’s top priorities include providing quality education to Grinnell children, attracting businesses to the area, and keeping costs down for hard-working families including housing costs.
