Mike and his wife, Kim, have two grown children, Brett and Lexi. Mike works in Nuclear Assembly at Emerson-Fisher Rosemount Systems, Inc. He is also a member of the Marshalltown City Council and Mayor Pro Tem, the co-founder of Marshalltown United for Ukraine, Executive Officer of the Marshalltown Homeless Task Force Committee, and a member of the Marshalltown 4 th of July Committee. Mike is passionate about helping others, which is why he is running for Mayor of Marshalltown, and is evident in his previous leadership roles in the UAW 893 Community Services Committee and the emergency food pantry established following the devastating tornado that hit Marshalltown in 2015. His family is currently sponsoring a Ukrainian family in Marshall County.
